Dialight Battery Backup Area Light

Dialight’s rugged and versatile LED Area Light products have a smaller form factor allowing them to be used in a wide variety of lighting applications. The legacy battery backup solution introduced limitations to this versatile, compact fixture as a result of the added weight and size. This led Dialight to create the all new Battery Backup Area Light.

This new form factor means the Battery Backup Area Light can work with all the standard mounting options for the Vigilant and SafeSite Area Light products including brackets, the Universal Mounting Adapter, and all retrofit kit adapters. Offering unparalleled ease of installation and significant time and cost savings, distributors and customers can configure stock on-site using the Universal Mounting Adapter.

Making an upgrade from virtually any existing system fast and simple, users can choose from one of 6 mounting brackets, including:

  • 0° Wall mount,
  • 45° wall mount,
  • 45° stanchion mount,
  • Conveyor mount for horizontal pole,
  • ceiling mount,
  • and 90° stanchion mount.

Dialight’s full suite of retrofit adapter kits for existing products includes: Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds™Champ®; GE Lighting Solutions – Filtr-Gard & Mini-Gard;  Holophane Petrolux® II, III; Thomas & Betts Hazlux®; Appleton® Mercmaster III; Appleton® Mercmaster II; and the Killark® Certilite® & Certilite®V and makes replacing legacy lighting fixtures with Dialight LED Area Lights fast and simple.

Dialight LED Area Lights are designed around Dialight’s exclusive purpose-built power supply, the battery backup area light contains both a main driver and a battery backup driver capable of 90 minutes of battery backup duration. Both Permanent Maintained and Switch Maintained battery modes are available.

With an operating temperature range from -20°C to +55°C and Dialight’s 10-year warranty (excluding battery packs), the new Dialight Battery Backup LED Area Lights are an ideal choice for Industrial lighting applications where emergency and egress lighting is needed.
