Lutron: Wireless - 5 Simple Steps
These 5 simple steps help transform projects with Vive wireless lighting controls to ensure code-compliant design and a system that is backed by Lutron's proven wireless performance.
Step 1 – Choose your load controls
- Select the load controls appropriate for your job. Options are available for: switching, dimming (Phase Select, 0-10V, and EcoSystem), and contact closure.
- Simply wire one load controller for each group of lights you want to control together – wall-mount and ceiling-mount options.
Step 2 – Choose wireless occupancy and/or vacancy sensors
- Occupancy and vacancy sensors ensure lights automatically adjust when a space is vacant
- Select wall-, hall-, or ceiling-mount sensors for touchless, major and minor motion coverage. Devices can be mounted to any surface – no wiring necessary.
Step 3 – Add daylight sensors
- Strategically place wireless daylight sensors to automatically reduce or raise electric light levels in response to available daylight.
- Wireless daylight sensors can be mounted wherever necessary for maximum efficiency, and can be easily adjusted if space layout changes.
Step 4 – Put control wherever you need it with wireless remotes
- Lutron Pico wireless remotes provide personal control wherever it’s needed, and allow you to add additional controls at any time, no wiring required.
- Pico controls can be mounted on tabletop pedestals, on any wall, or glass surface
Step 5 – Make it a smart system with wireless hubs
- Tie the entire system together with a wireless hub, or multiple hubs.
- Vive software enables timeclock events, demand response, BACnet and API integration, energy monitoring, and proactive maintenance alerts all from the convenient app.
- Hubs can be added at any time, and setup are easy to do with no outside commissioning required.
