MEP Basecamp Success!
Training, Understanding Workflows, and Networking
From the 100+ learning sessions, to our customer appreciation parties, to the amazing XR10 give away, MEP Basecamp 2019 in sunny San Diego was a huge success! Response from attendees particularly focused on appreciation of the personalized, in-depth, hands-on training at the Knowledge Café. Not to mention there were software discounts for attendees.
The workshop tracks included AutoBid Estimating, Accubid Classic Estimating, Accubid Anywhere & Enterprise, Trimble Estimation (Viewpoint), Trimble SysQue, EC-CAD, Pipe Designer 3D and DuctDesigner 3D. The special giveaway was the wearable Trimble XR10 with HoloLens 2 which brings mixed reality right to the front line, enabling workers in safety-controlled environments to access model data directly on site.
And, of course, networking was an important component of Basecamp. Representatives from many companies circulated and chatted, including sponsors BuildingPoint, Hilti, eSUB Construction, Global eTraining, Mestek Machinery, MSUITE, Seiler Design Solutions, GreatAmerica Financial Services, SketchUp and Viewpoint. Among the many attendees were reps from Dynalectric San Diego, Ferguson Enterprises, John W. Danforth Company, Kelso-Burnett Company, Microsoft, P1 Group, and Rosendin.
