Quick to install, Greaves’ SNAP! connectors solve problems encountered with hydraulic compression tools (scheduling, die sets, cost to buy/rent/borrow, leaks), working in tight spaces in a panel, and inspectable torque assurance. 

SNAP! is a compression/mechanical hybrid, and combines the reliability of traditional compression connections with simple installation with only a standard open-end or adjustable wrench.  After stripping and inserting the wire, the wrench tightens the special SNAP! nut until the proper pre-calibrated torque is applied and the nut breaks off.  This leaves a heavy cylinder which compresses the body onto the wire.  Each connector size has its own precise torque setting.  

Many months of precision engineering work and testing went into the SNAP! design.  The result exceeds UL requirements for applied torque, pull out strength, and conductivity.  The basic design is available in one-hole lugs, 2-hole NEMA lugs, and in-line splices.
