ESL Vision's Ti LED Tube & Retrofit System
ESL’s Ti System is extremely versatile, with more LED T8 linear tube and retrofit options than any other system. The Ti tubes use the tombstones only as a placeholder while the Ti Retrofits use magnetic clips to secure the lamps. The patented system uses the same T8 LED tubes in different configurations depending on the approach – DLC Type C Tubes or DLC Troffer Retrofit Kits.
DLC Type C Tubes
When using the Ti Tubes for replacing existing fluorescent tubes, simply choose the type of base and the corresponding end-cap. Simply slide on the cap and insert into the tombstone. The end-caps are only used to mechanically secure the tubes to the fixture. Power is supplied via a direct connection to an LED driver with the same form-factor as the existing ballast. Installation only takes about three minutes.

DLC Troffer Retrofit Kits
Using the exact same Ti Lamps, the Ti Retrofit Kits don’t use the tombstones at all. Instead of end-caps, the retrofit kits use unique magnetic clips to secure the lamps to the troffer, which allows users to de-lamp and control where they are placed. This qualifies the installation as a troffer retrofit kit for higher utility rebates in most cases. Just like the Type C installation, power is supplied through a direct connection with an LED driver, not the tombstones.
Ti Retrofit Plates and Strips also use the Ti LED bars, which are compatible with nearly all standard fixtures, and like the Ti Tubes and Kits, don’t require access to the ceiling plenum. The plate and strip kits are available with optional occupancy sensors and photocells and other DLC networked controls.
