Status Code, Manufacturer UNSPSC, and Energy Star Compliance fields added

In response to feedback from our customers, Trade Service is pleased to announce the addition of new data fields to our eDataFlex Pricing Service format:

• The mfr_item_status field will be added and populated with manufacturer provided status changes. This will be a character field and is strictly a pass-through of manufacturer supplied data.
  
• The mfr_unspsc field will be added and populated with the manufacturers provided UNSPSC code. This will be a numeric field and is strictly a pass-through of manufacturer supplied data.
  
• The energy_star field will be added and populated with a “Y” for YES if the item is Energy Star compliant.

These new fields will be in the first deliverable update after December 1, 2008 and will appear at the end of the pricesvc.txt table.
