EAN Field Activated, GTIN and UPC Fields Added

In response to feedback from our customers, Trade Service is pleased to announce the populating of one existing field and the addition of two new data fields to our Catalog Connect Image Only and Catalog Connect Relational Tab Delimited format.

• The EAN field will be opened and populated for some of our eDataFlex products. Type will be changed to “char”. Status will be changed to NOW. Also, GTIN and UPC fields will be added to some of our eDataFlex products, and their status will be set to NOW.
• GTIN -- Global Trade Item Number -- a unique identifier for items or services that are purchased and invoiced.
• UPC -- Concatenation of Mfr UCC, Item Number and Check Digit

These new fields will appear at the end of the appropriate table for each product, as listed below:

• eDataFlex Catalog Connect Image Only -- pricesvc.txt
• eDataFlex Catalog Connect (Relational Tab Delimited Format) -- item.txt
